Is it just me or have you noticed that women’s suits are everywhere right now? It seems that the coolest looks are created with tailored suits – put on a suit and you’ll surely be one of the best dressed person no matter where you’re heading into. While I certainly love wearing dresses and skirts over anything else, I find myself thinking about women’s suits, how effortlessly stylish they look, and if I need to add a new set to my closet for the upcoming season.
Several things advocate for the value of suits; they are both trendy and timeless, they flatter all figures and body shapes. They can be worn almost everywhere; to the office, a dinner, a party, and the list goes on. The style works dressed up or down, and as a bonus, you can also wear the pieces as separates. Sounds perfect or what?
But what if you are a girly girl and mostly wear dresses and skirts, or if you love casual style more than formal looks, should you buy a suit because it’s trendy and everybody’s wearing a suit? There’s no point following a trend that doesn’t feel right for you. If you feel that it’s not your thing – if you don’t like it, you’ll never wear it. But if you like it, buy it, wear it – embrace it.
Here are four questions to help you figuring out if a trouser suit is your thing:
1. Is your style formal or casual?
Do you prefer formal or casual looks? You may love a suit on someone, but if she has a totally different style than yours, you may find yourself feeling insecure when wearing a suit. If you’re comfortable wearing formal looks, that’s a mark in its favor.
2. Do you enjoy wearing structured blazers?
Are you already comfortable wearing blazers? If structured blazers feel like your thing, you might also feel comfortable and empowered wearing a trouser suit.
3. Can you visualize yourself wearing a suit in real lifesituations?
Where would you wear a suit? List at least three situations in which you could wear a suit. If you can imagine yourself happily wearing a suit in real life occasions, it’s a good indication that you would actually wear your suit instead of leaving it to hang in your closet.
4. Do you see yourself wearing a suit short-term or long-term?
Is a suit something you see yourself wearing season after season? Visualize yourself wearing that same suit in five or even ten years’ time, will that suit stand a test of time?
Before investing in anything new, it’s good to turn inwards for a second and let yourself think about the lifetime value your new purchace will provide. Everyone deserves to look and feel good, and there’s no doubt that fashion can be incredibly powerful tool when it comes to making you feel empowered, but only when you make your own fashion choices and believe in your own sense of style, instead of dressing for someone else.
During my fashion journey , I have been gravitating towards many different styles. In my early twenties I was wearing a lot of pink, and preferred mini lengths over anything else. Later, I was looking for a more classy style, I wanted to dress like an adult, so I went for the monochromatic and colorless style, if I wore prints, they were only stripes. The less I experienced colors in my looks, the more careful I became. I lost my creativity and courage to embrace colors in my looks and in my home décor too. I wasn’t sure how to do it stylishly. I was afraid I would make a huge style mistake. So, I mostly wore black. My style has changed a lot since then, and I am much more open minded and confident to wear what I like to wear. Today, I see fashion as a source of joy – it’s how I cherish the feminine part of my life and nourish my creativity.
Why you should experiment with your style?
The big question is: How did I find my style? I had a level up moment about two years ago when I realized that life is now, and if I wanted to make my dreams come true, the power is in my hands – nobody else can live my life. I learned what wasn’t important (to care of what other people think of me), and what was important (what I thought of myself). It was my wake-up call to my life. And I felt empowered.
Since that moment, I started to experience fashion very creatively, I styled looks with all the colors of the rainbow. Surely, I made hundreds of style mistakes, but only if you rush to judgement instead of curiosity. I styled outfits that were different from my standard, but that was how I actually found out what I enjoyed wearing. I stopped shrinking myself to make others feel comfortable and gave myself a permission to enjoy the thing that brings me so much joy – fashion.
Find out what makes you feel the best version of yourself
So far, my experimental period has taught me a lot. I feel more confident than ever before, I have learnt what I like to wear, and I have a deep sense of my own style. I feel inspired. I feel open-minded and limitless. My journey displayed me that fashion can be incredibly powerful tool when it comes to making you feel empowered and confident.
So many of us are scared to be judged by the “fashion polices”, but eventually, the only thing that matters is that you believe in yourself. My best tip to finding your own style is to experiment with an open mind as much as you can. Find out what you love, what makes you feel fabulous. What makes your soul shine? You can never please everyone, it’s impossible. So, do what makes you feel happy, inspired, and alive.
The graphic zebra print is the fashion statement of the moment
Did you know that animal prints are forever in style? They’re always on point, and they’ve never gone out of style. A classic leopard print is already considered as “neutral”. But there’s more to be experienced in the fashion jungle – if you already feel comfortable wearing leopard print, I guess you would love zebra print too.
My favorite print for fall has surprisingly become a zebra print. After wearing almost only floral dresses all summer, as the new season arrived, I have found myself gravitating towards wild animal prints, and especially graphic zebra prints. In particular, I have been wearing this statement jumper over and over again. The silhouette is fun, featuring sleeves with a unique, boxy cut, and I love how it can be dressed up and down. I have paired it already with classic trousers, high waisted denim and knitted skirts and I’m already dreaming of 100 different ways to style it.
While zebra print is one of the most fashionable prints at the moment, it can be considered as a timeless print that you can wear season after season. If you’re looking for something that can be easily styled with multiple looks, I suggest you to choose a monochromatic black and white zebra pattern, as it can be paired with any color. For a classic look, pair it with black or white, for more casual look, add denim to create a relaxed finish. And if you’re ready to make a real statement look, pair your zebra printed piece with a pop of some bold color, pink, green, yellow, blue… any color will go, just be sure to pick a color that makes you feel beautiful and empowered.
Today I’m thrilled to share my experiences with Chicwish. As many of you know, it’s one of my favorite clothing brands, and whenever I need elegant and beautiful statement items, I know I will find the perfect pieces from Chicwish. Their design is timeless, classic, and feminine – just what I love, when I’m looking for clothing with a touch of luxury and elegance. I have been fortunate to partner with Chicwish for over a year now and I have to say that Chicwish has been an incredible partner, and I feel honored to represent the brand.
Chicwish has a wide selection of women’s clothes from voluminous tulle skirts to uniquely designed bathing suits. They offer skirts and dresses that are perfect for just about all my special occasions, while also having a wide selection of qualified and stylish activewear for women. Since I have been able to try their many different styles, I am a good resource for their most gorgeous pieces.
My favorite items from Chicwish
My partnership with Chicwish begin when they reached me out in 2020. I haven’t heard about Chicwish before, but from the moment I saw their selection of eye-catching tulle skirts and delicately detailed dresses, I was curious to try their products and see what they offer.
As a result, after our partnership has continued one and half year, I know which are my favorite pieces that I constantly wear and will treasure season after season.
I love to dress up, and my favorite ways to embrace a classic and elegant look, is to put on an A-line skirt from Chicwish. They feature a beautiful voluminous silhouette, creating a timeless and classic look that will always look perfectly polished. They have a very good quality and they fit my waist perfectly, they are not something that will go out of style as quickly as they arrive, but very timeless pieces that I can see myself wearing season after season. They also make me feel fabulous and are easy to style up to perfection.
Chicwish has an amazing selection of dresses. While I have always loved floral dresses, as soon as I saw the blooming floral dress collection of Chicwish, I have been gravitating towards them even more. Specially I adore their floor-sweeping maxi dresses, as I think there’s no better way to create an elegant look, than wearing a full-length dress with a charming pattern.
Honestly, I was astonished by the swimwear collection of Chicwish, without a doubt, they’re designed to empower women and help them look their best when hanging out on the sand or by the pool. I personally love their ultra-feminine swimwear and I have never felt as beautiful and glamorous when spending time at a beach as I felt when wearing Chicwish. There’s nothing that lifts your mood as much as finding a swimwear that makes you feel fabulous.
What about thequality with Chicwish products?
To say most of the items I have received from Chicwish have exceeded my quality expectations. In my opinion, they have a wide selection of clothes made with a very qualified materials, and I’ve had no issues with awkward stitching, seams splitting, products falling apart or anything else.
What size to order?
In my experience, I’ve found the fitting with Chicwish to be consistent. Typically, I wear an S for all clothing, apart from outerwear, when I like to size up to create a boxy fit and to five room for layering. If you are unsure about what size to order, I suggest measuring yourself and following the size charts located below each item description.
How long does shipping take?
The shipping time depends on your location. Typically, I receive my package between 2-3 weeks from the date ordered. If you need an item to a special event, make sure you place your order accordingly.
Is Chicwish legit?
From my experience, yes Chicwish is legit. They want to make sure that your online shopping experience goes as smoothly as possible. Firstly, they do accept returns and allow exchanges. Secondly, they want to ensure that you receive a flawless item, which means, if you receive a defective item, they’ll replace it for free. Thirdly, they do not force store credit when you return an item. Fourthly, when shopping at Chicwish, you don’t need to worry about duty fees, because they cover them all for you. Fifthly, they have a good customer service, and they want to do their best to communicate with you thoroughly about the ordering process.
As you can see, I own many items from Chicwish, none of which I have returned or left with tags attached… All in all, Chicwish is definitely a brand that I can see myself wearing and sharing with you for years to come. I certainly love their feminine aesthetic and unique design I tend to gravitate to. Expect to see a lot of feminine looks and fabulous outfits with Chicwish on my social channels.

THE SWEATER WEATHER IS HERE. In collaboration with Chicwish.
Stay warm while remaining stylish with a chunky sweater
One of the first things I always look for in autumn is knitwear. They pair perfectly with chilly autumn days and crisp leaves, and obviously, they’re meant to keep us warm and cozy during the colder months.
I love oversized, chunky sweaters for a few reasons:
They have enough room for layering when you need some extra warmth.
They’re easy to style in multiple ways, and can be worn with jeans for casual look, skirts for a statement look or if the sweater is long enough, with nothing underneath styled with knee-high boots.
A chunky sweater is very photogenic, the heavier material and the texture just looks good when being photographed.
They’re timeless, a chunky sweater trend is here to stay, so you can surely make the most of your sweater season after season.
If you have a chunky sweater somewhere in your wardrobe or consider investing in one, but are not used to wearing oversized styles, styling a chunky sweater can feel a little challenging. Let’s be honest, there’s a lot of extra material in this knitted number. To avoid finding yourself looking shapeless, and instead, looking fabulous and polished, there are a few tricks to help you:
5 Styling tricks to help you style your chunky sweater
1. Tuck it in
Try a half-tuck, that means slightly tuck your chunky knit halfway into your bottom of choice (see my pictures). This works specially if the sweater features a long and wide fit.
2. Look for balance
Pair your chunky knit with sleek pieces, like slim skirt or trousers for balanced and figure-flattering finish. Pair with heels or sleek boots for extra stylish and polished look.
3. Go all-oversized
If oversized looks are your thing, you can just forget all the rules, and make it a statement look! Go all-oversized, add wide-legged pants or loose maxi skirt, and finish the look with chunky boots or sneakers.
4. Glam it up
For a more glamorous finish, pair your chunky sweater with something shiny, a satin slip dress would go perfectly with it or maybe even a sequin trousers… Metallic accessories work well too!
5. Be confident
Wear your chunky sweater with confidence and smile (that works for your all looks). When you feel happy inside your happiness will shine on everyone you meet.
I hope these styling tricks will help you to feel confident and happy in all your chunky sweater looks.
WEAR WHAT YOU LOVE. In collaboration with Chicwish.
Your style is an evolution and will change over time
Do you remember when you were a kid and you wore what you loved without worrying about what other people think of your style? Getting dressed up was so simple back then, you just picked up your favorite pieces… and that’s it, you wore them happily and satisfied.
Then something happens… you grow up, you have a bigger closet full of clothes that you have bought yourself, but still you got “nothing to wear”. Have you ever struggled with that? I used to have this problem all the time, and I know it’s frustrating.
For example, after having a baby my body shape changed, and I needed to learn how to dress that new body. Moreover, a personal style is always an evolution, we don’t want to dress up the same way in our thirties as we were in our twenties… So, you need to figure your own style (again) and improve your confidence to work out what kind of clothes you really love. Of course, it’s easier said than done.
All you need is a little confidence
To find your own style confidence, you don’t need to change your body to fit into certain clothes, you just need to figure out the certain pieces that fit for your body type right now just the way it is.
So the question is: How to find the perfect pieces for you? What works and what doesn’t is different for every individual. Nobody assembles the perfect wardrobe in a day, it takes time, and it’s an ever-changing process. The first place to start is to look for the pieces that give you confidence, the pieces you would love to wear over and over again, pieces that make you feel happy, comfortable and give you the feeling that you can conquer the world.
6Ways to feel confident in your clothes
1. Wear clothes that make you feel comfortable
The way you dress have a huge effect on your identity, when you feel good about yourself, you’re more likely to feel good inside too. Pay attention to the clothes that make you feel comfortable, the fabrics you love to wear, like lightweight silky fabrics and soft knitwear, the cut that works for you. When it comes to your own style, it’s all about what you enjoy wearing.
2. Choose the colors and prints that you love
What colors do you usually wear? If orange is trending know, there’s no point to buy it in your closet if it’s not your color – if you don’t like it, you will never wear it. That’s why it’s important to know what colors you actually love to wear. It’s the same with prints, someone loves geometric stripes, someone loves wild animal prints, and somonee loves delicate florals. Choose the prints that you love, not the prints that are trendy.
3. Get rid of the clothing that you never wear
If you are like most women, your wardrobe has a few items that you constantly wear and a lot of items you can’t even remember the last time you wore them. Get rid of the clothes that make you feel bad, the ones that doesn’t fit any more, the ones that wrinkles easily, itchy wool pieces, pieces that are too tight or too loose… all those pieces that you for some reason never wear. Yes, it feels uncomfortable to give away your clothes, but a proper closet clean out will help you make sense of your own style. You will learn what you don’t like and then you will learn what you actually like.
4. Know your own uniform
Knowing your own uniform helps when you feel you have “nothing to wear”. Figure out your go-to pieces, the ones that you can easily throw on and feel put together. For example, an oversized white button-up shirt paired with jeans always works, or if you are a dress person maybe a long knit dress for fall/winter and lightweight dress for spring/summer styled with a trench coat or a blazer, would do that. Knowing the outfits you love to wear over and over again will make your dressing up easy and stress-free.
5. Shop alone or with a Personal Stylist
Shopping alone helps you to trust your own instinct, it pushes you to make your own decisions, and shows you that you know how to dress your own body. When you shop with a friend, you’re more likely to shop impulsively and end up having a lot of clothes, but know idea where to wear them. If you feel unhappy with your style, investing in a Personal Stylist can help you find the clothes that suit you and your lifestyle, and that will increase your confidence and make a huge positive impact in your life.
6. Wear something risky
Wearing something you find a little risky can help your courage to grow. When you allow yourself to try something different from your standards, to make mistakes, you also allow yourself to learn. When you try new things you may find something that really lights you up, something other than what you already know. But most importantly, you will learn that other people’s opinions about what you wear doesn’t really matter, what matters is how YOU feel in your clothes. Clothing can actually set you free, if you allow it.

CARDIGAN AND FLORAL SKIRT in collaboration with Chicwish
Last week I came across a book that was about womanhood, how we have learned to see our emotionality, hormonal oscillations, and mood swings as a weakness when they actually are a STRENGTH. Have you ever thought about it that way?
I’ve only read the beginning of the book, but I found it quite interesting… Of course, each woman and her experiences are uniquely hers, but anyway we all are designed by nature, our bodies are much wiser than we think. One fascinating thing from the book was that our mood swings and the days when we are most critical to everything around us are a time of psychological inventory when we figure out if we are where we want to be in life. It got me thinking that our mood swings have their own purpose, they help us to move forward in life, to change things we need to change to make our life the way we want it. It was eye-opening… I guess one of the most important things is to move away from labeling everything “bad” or “good”, because even our mood swings have their positive sides.
No matter how you identify a womanhood or how you choose to embrace it in your life, remember that you and your feelings matter… because we were never meant to be just static. We’re all unique and that’s the beauty of it.
I just noticed that pastel pink is the perfect fall color
When I was about 25-30 years old I mostly wore black and white. I didn’t have the confidence to wear colors, and I was afraid that I would look foolish or wear colors “wrong”. At some point I felt I needed to refresh my style and to start enjoying getting dressed up again… and so I started exploring fashion through the colors in my everyday life.
It’s amazing how quickly trying new things each day gives you more courage to pursue even more. And as you learn to believe in your own taste, you may even find something that really lights you up. I’ve always loved pink, but for many years I never wore it. Now I love wearing pink clothing and accessories and I’ve also decorated my home with some pops of pink.
What’s your favorite color and do you have the courage to wear it?

As a dress lover, I’m always excited for the dresses to wear in each season. Effortless, good-looking dresses are one of my most trusted fashion pieces and I wear them all the time. My ultimate fall weather staple is a knit dress, it’s a stylish essential for the chilly months when you want to feel comfortable yet put together. They are incredibly versatile to style in multiple ways, and perfect for layering for cooler weather too.
Knitted dresses are incredibly versatile, I like to pair them with heels or boots for a date night, with sneakers for running errands around the city, and with a cozy cup of tea for lounging at home. And the best part is, a knitted dress is more like a wardrobe classic than a trend, it never really goes out of fashion, which makes it the perfect investment piece.
