Isn’t it funny how much your personal style can change in only a few years? I thought it would be hilarious (and of course embarrassing) to have a look back on my style journey over the past decade. I’ve always been quite into mastering the feminine style and adventurous with bright colors, flowy fabrics, ruffles, lace and floral prints. I feel that looking back helps me to see how far I’ve become and also how long I’ve been working with my passion – which is of course – fashion.
Shall we take a little look down my memory lane? Well, here it goes… from age 25 to 35.
Back in 2010 I was into fitted waist cardigans, tube tops and mini skirts. And always, always the highest heels that I could find.
Breezy dresses were my favorites, I think my mantra was: the more feminine the better. And always, always high heels.
In 2015 I started to appreciate more qualified fashion items. I still do have many of my purchases during this time.
I was quite experimental with fashion in 2016. At that time I designed and made most of my clothes myself.
In 2019 I stopped holding myself back and started to trust myself and my own sense of style. This was the year when I gave myself a permission to enjoy, explore and have fun with fashion. And to not take myself too seriously. What a good year.
New decade and a few of my looks from this May. I think they’re quite fab.
My current fashion philosophy?Maybe this: “Better an oops than what if…”
That was a little sum up of my personal style evolution. Thank you very much for taking a look back over the past years with me.
What are your own best style memories from 2010 to the present day? Wishing you a great Wednesday!
Leather in neutral tones paired with a white shirt is a winning choice if you want to look expensive. It’s a timeless look with an elegant twist and you can never go wrong with these. If you want to add a modern finishing touch try faux snakeskin accessories for the chicest look.
2. White Shirt + Statement Accessories
I love big and bold statement necklaces, they’re such an easy and fun way to change your outfit in seconds and they are always a great option to glam up your white shirt. Make your legs look longer and mark your waistline with a stylish belt for polished look.
2. White Shirt + Gingham Print
Gingham is one of the coolest print in 2020. To update your look, pair your white shirt with this classic print for the coolest springtime style.

Hello and happy Friday! Suits are a thing, especially at the moment, they are the modern woman’s most powerful way to get dressed up. And the best part of this trends is that suiting will never go out of style. Buy now and wear forever. I absolutely wanted to try a color-blocking suit in bold yellow. And of course, I instantly fell in love with it as it’s a real confidence boosting standout piece. I almost feel like a superhero when wearing it.
I wish everybody a wonderful and colorful weekend! Keep it up!

Who else wants to look glamorous every now and then? These basic items are always so easy to style!
Hello and happy Tuesday! When it comes to fashion, usually the best pieces are the ones that are easy to style in countless ways. Like a black blazer that can be paired with almost anything. One of my newest obsession is this very light beige satin skirt, that makes any outfit look instantly polished, just like a blazer does as well. This is why they make such a perfect look when paired together. During this stay-at-home time, I’ve also noticed that the satin skirt is a wonderful mood boosting option for home office look, it’s so feminine, but also cozy to wear which is why I love it so much.
To achieve elegance, I made the finishing touch in this look with black leather accessories with golden embellishments. Using a belt to mark your waistline makes the look even more feminine and polished. White lace top is an oldie, that I’ve bought in 2008, just found it again from my wardrobe and thought it’s quite a beauty.
I hope you’re all doing fine and enjoying the lovely springtime!

Radiance boosting, brightening, tightening, soothing, hydrating… Are you ready to glow?
Hello babes! Let’s talk about the glow. Glowing skin is always in. There’s a reason why glowing skin is on our list of wants; flawless, glowing complexion represents health and youthfulness. And of course almost everyone wants a healthy looking skin, who doesn’t? So how to achieve the dreamy, dewy, glowing skin? Well, this cult product from Clarins is the one that actually works for me.
Beauty Flash Balm, the ultimate radiance boosting product for tired skin that instantly moisturises, brightens and tightens facial contours. This product diffuses the look of fine lines and contains soothing ingredients which will help to achieve radiant and glowing skin. It also prepares the skin for perfect makeup application and helps the makeup stay flawless and luminous for hours. This is a staple I swear by in my beauty routine, I always use this under my makeup. Love it!
I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.
–Helena Bonham Carter
A little sneak peek of what’s coming and one inspirational quote that I love from Helena Bonham Carter that makes me think the way I want to see everything… like everything in life could be art, if we choose to see life that way. Happy and inspirational Friday to everyone!
Morning routines, like getting dressed in beautiful clothes, is one of the things that brings me a lot of joy. Styling my work-from-home outfits increases my energy and productivity and I feel more focused and inspired versus wearing my good old pyjamas. Nice clothes boost my motivation, which is why I think it’s important to give a little consideration to how to dress while working from home.
I’ve noticed that wearing bright colors brightens up my mood the most. I love wearing lemon yellow, fresh minty tones, jewelry green and girly hues like lilac. I don’t usually wear shoes at home so I prefer wearing the pretties socks I can find.
How do you feel about getting dressed up when staying at home? Hope you’re doing fine and enjoying the spring and sunlight.
